Papa

Papa is one of those people who is so interesting and fun to be around that he only needs one name. You know like Elvis!! While Monkey and May-May's papa flies an ultra-light, raises pigs, lives in the country and loves to eat at McDonalds. Monkey is so attached to his Papa that everyone else disappears when he is around.

Cheerleaders

We went to the Bradford Pep Rally. While there I asked a few of the cheerleaders to pose with Monkey for a picture. He had been watching them intently so I thought he would be all for the idea. Well, not so much. I am sure by the time he is 15 he will love to be in a pic with three cheerleaders.

Lake Andrea

Today we took the boys out to Lake Andrea for some time at the beach. May-May slept in the shade with a light breeze and Monkey played in the sand. We had a great time!

Monkey and Harleys

Moose and Monkey watched the Harley riders cruise through our neighborhood!

May-May in Pink

Yes, this is May-May with a pink blanket, isn't he cute? He loves to sit in this chair and look at the toys hanging down. He has even begun to hit the toys and smile at them. He is such a funny baby because he loves his alone time but wants to be held tightly while he is practically wrestling you when he needs to fall asleep. He is starting to put himself on a nice schedule and wakes up just once in the middle of the night (although for Moose and I the 11:00pm bottle feels like the middle of the night too!).

Brothers

These two cuties are becoming the best of friends. One of the first things Monkey does when he gets up in the morning is ask "May-May?" and we reassure him that May-May is downstairs and he replies with "Yes". May-May loves to watch Monkey jump around and smiles when he shakes a rattle in front of this face (sometimes just missing his face). When May-May cries Monkey will say in the cutest little voice with his face all scrunched up "May-May crying". Monkey does not understand when May-May is sleeping that we need to keep the screaming down to a low shreek. He tends to love to scream "May-May SLEEPING". It is so fun to watch their relationship grow and we often wonder how they will get along in the years to come.

Bubbles Visits Wisconsin!

Our friend Bubbles lives in Georgia and she came up north for the wedding this past weekend. We were so happy because she stayed at our house for five nights!! Monkey fell in love with her because she was always willing to get on the ground and play with him. She has a magic touch with May-May so he would sleep in her arms for hours on end. I loved having my friend with me for a few days! We went shopping and out for lunch and just did a bunch of fun girl friend things. Moose always loves hanging out with her putting away a beer or two. Bubbles gets her name from the bubble machine she has at her house that blows bubbles over her pool. Our friend Jamin named her Bubbles years ago and it has just stuck.

I am not so sure how much Bubbles enjoyed staying at our home with May-May waking up a few times a night and Monkey screaming "Rocket" all the time (which means "I want to watch Little Einsteins"). We hope she comes back soon!!

Zoo

We went to the Zoo today with some friends. We had a great time looking at the monkeys, cows, elephants and giraffes. That was really all we had time for prior to the toddler melt-down time. Oh yeah we also made it on the train. Monkey loved the cows and May-May slept through the entire day (good boy).

Wedding

Our good friends J and K got married this past weekend. Here are some pictures from the wonderful weekend. Marty and I were both in the wedding and THANK GOODNESS I have sisters!! Why?? Because Monkey and May-May were able to come to the reception while my sisters and niece watched them. We all had a great time!

May-May

Our little May-May is already getting so big. He is up to four oz. of formula at a feeding and only wakes up one time in the middle of the night. He had his first trip to the ER the other night. He was throwing up on and off for a few hours and we weren't sure what to do. At 3 AM we were both a little panicy so we just brought him in and of course once we got there he was fine and never threw up again. Lesson learned: Babies get stomach bugs too!

Monkey

We took Monkey to "The Campground" the other day while visiting my parents. It's a crazy thing bringing your kids to a place you loved as a kid. He loved playing in the sand and his dad was right by his side digging holes and making motes. He chased the fish and walked in the water up to his neck. Monkey has no fear at all. A little girl was walking around showing all the kids the toad she found and many screamed or walked away, not Monkey! He put his hand right in her bucket and tried to squeeze it while saying "How cute". Funny little Monkey!

Jump on Board!

I'm jumping on board the blog train. Since everyone else is doing it I thought I might as well share some of the thousands of pictures I take of the loves of my life (see the three above?? That's them). In line with Terri's blog I will have cute little names for my boys to protect their identity. Ok, maybe not cute but none the less nicknames. I hope you enjoy some of our pictures and stories!
